Maternity BVM School earns award from Archdiocese

Maternity BVM Elementary School, 9322 Old Bustleton Ave., received an Archdiocesan Elementary School of Distinction award on Friday, Sept. 13.

Auxiliary Bishop Michael Fitzgerald, who oversees Catholic education throughout the five-county Archdiocese of Philadelphia, presented the award to longtime principal Mary Zawisza, who accepted it on behalf of the faculty, staff and students. ••
